Emergency locksmith: child alone in the flat – 71679

A child alone behind the door in Asperg is pure stress for parents. If your child is fine, we open the door without damage. If there is any danger, the rule is: call 112 first.

Talk calmly to your child through the door. Check whether the cooker, bath, balcony or windows are a danger. If there is danger: 112. Otherwise call us and stay at the door.

Asperg is west of Ludwigsburg below the Hohenasperg, close to the railway and the main road. Typical buildings there are terraced houses and old buildings in the streets below the hill. Tell us on the phone that a child is inside. Tell us the street; the Hohenasperg itself is rarely where we are needed.

Door opening, door slammed shut: Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm 99 €, Mon–Fri 6 pm–8 am, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 149 €. Locked: 129 € or 179 €. No surcharge because a child is inside.

Tuesday, 8:30 pm, door slammed shut: 149 €. Sunday, 12 pm, locked: 179 €. Tuesday, 2:30 pm, locked: 129 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

Arrive, take a quick look at the door, open it without damage. While we work, keep talking to your child.

If the child has turned the key on the inside, the bolt is out. Then it is a locked door. We can usually open that without damage too; it just takes a little longer.

Nobody needs to feel embarrassed about calling 112 when a child is behind the door. Better once too often. The control centre decides whether the fire brigade comes. We are the right help once it is clear that there is no danger.

Is the child answering? Is the cooker off, is no water running, are the windows closed? Is there a key in the lock on the inside? Is the door slammed shut or locked? Danger: 112. Otherwise call us and stay at the door.

Rattling the door with force, which frightens the child. Asking the child to go to the lock or the window. Calling a locksmith first instead of 112 when there is danger.

Take time for your child. Take the key out of the lock when you leave the flat. A spare key with neighbours helps next time.
