Emergency locksmith for a stolen key – Oßweil

A stolen key is more serious than a lost one, because someone has it on purpose. In Oßweil (71640) we change the cylinder of your flat or front door. If you are locked out, we open the door first.

1. Report it to the police. 2. Block your cards. 3. Call us and tell us whether you can still get in. 4. Tell your landlord if the key belongs to a master key system.

Oßweil is north-east of central Ludwigsburg, already close to the fields towards Neckarweihingen and Poppenweiler. Typical buildings there are detached houses with a garden gate, estate houses from the 50s and 60s and older farmhouses in the old centre. If the address and key were together, the cylinder should not wait until tomorrow. Tell us the street and whether the door of the house or a garden gate in front of it is locked.

If you can’t get in: Opening plus a new cylinder on the same call-out: slammed shut 148 € / 198 €, locked 178 € / 228 €; cylinder material typically 25–50 € (standard). If you can still get in: cylinder change 89 € or 119 €, standard cylinder included.

Wednesday, 4 pm, locked, opening and new cylinder: 178 € plus material. Wednesday, 10 pm, locked, opening and new cylinder: 228 € plus material. Saturday, 3 pm, slammed shut, opening and new cylinder: 198 € plus material. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

If needed, we first open the door without damage. Then we fit the new cylinder and you test the new keys. After that, the stolen key is useless for this door.

Write down which keys were on the key ring. The flat door and the front door matter most. The garage, letterbox and cellar come next. For every door with a cylinder we quote a fixed price. With a master key system, the owner decides about the whole system.

A single cylinder is changed quickly. If the stolen key belongs to a master key system, the owner decides what happens next. Until then, your own cylinder in your flat door can be a temporary solution, if the landlord agrees.

Think of every door the key opens: front door, garage, letterbox. Keep the police report confirmation for your insurance.

Over the next few days, watch out for anything unusual around the building. Tell your neighbours if the key to the building’s front door was stolen.
