If your key is lost, a new cylinder makes sense anyway. In Oßweil we open the locked door and change the cylinder at the same time: 178 € during the day, plus material.
Locked and lost?
If you locked the door when you left, the bolt is thrown. If the key is lost, a new cylinder makes sense. If it’s inside, the opening for 129 € is enough.
Locked door in Oßweil
Oßweil is north-east of central Ludwigsburg, already close to the fields towards Neckarweihingen and Poppenweiler. Typical there are detached houses with a garden gate, estate houses from the 50s and 60s and older farmhouses in the old centre. We open via the cylinder and change it afterwards. Tell us the street and whether the door of the house or a garden gate in front of it is locked.

Opening via the cylinder
We open the bolt via the cylinder. Then we remove the old cylinder, fit the new one and test the lock with you.
Cylinder after the opening
With locked doors we work on the cylinder. It usually stays intact. But if the key is lost, we change it anyway so the old key no longer fits.
More protection when changing
If the cylinder is being changed anyway, a security cylinder is worth thinking about. Extra cost typically 25–70 €.
Rented flat
The old cylinder usually belongs to the landlord, please keep it. With master key systems, ask the property management first.
Key stolen?
If the key was stolen, report the theft to the police. The new cylinder makes the stolen key worthless. Our invoice and the police case number help with your insurance.
Several residents
If several people live in the flat, they all need new keys. Count beforehand how many you need.
Before the appointment
If you know a security cylinder is fitted, tell us. Then we plan the time and material correctly.
Common mistakes
Drilling the cylinder yourself. Only having the door opened, although the lost key still fits.
After the change
Only give new keys to people who need them. Collect the old keys.
