Emergency locksmith for a stolen key – 71665

A stolen key is more serious than a lost one, because someone has it on purpose. In Vaihingen an der Enz (71665) we change the cylinder of your flat or front door. If you are locked out, we open the door first.

1. Report it to the police. 2. Block your cards. 3. Call us and tell us whether you can still get in. 4. Tell your landlord if the key belongs to a master key system.

We come to Vaihingen an der Enz, about 20.0 km as the crow flies from the ikeytz office in Adalbert-Stifter-Straße. If you can’t get in, we open the door and fit the new cylinder straight away. Tell us the district. Vaihingen an der Enz is not Stuttgart-Vaihingen.

Locked out: opening plus a new cylinder 148 € / 198 € (slammed shut) or 178 € / 228 € (locked), material typically 25–50 €. Door open: 89 € Mon–Fri 8 am–6 pm, otherwise 119 €.

Monday, 10:30 am, locked, opening and new cylinder: 178 € plus material. Saturday, 3 pm, slammed shut, opening and new cylinder: 198 € plus material. Monday, 10:30 am, slammed shut, opening only: 99 €. We confirm the exact amount by phone before we set off.

Check which door is affected. Open it if you are locked out. Change the cylinder, test the locking, hand over the keys. Invoice for your insurance or police report.

Write down which keys were on the key ring. The flat door and the front door matter most. The garage, letterbox and cellar come next. For every door with a cylinder we quote a fixed price. With a master key system, the owner decides about the whole system.

Report the theft to the police. You need the confirmation for your insurance and your bank. Whether your home contents insurance pays for the cylinder change depends on your policy. With a master key system, tell the landlord, because the whole building may be affected.

Waiting to see if the key turns up again. Blocking only your bank cards and forgetting the lock. Leaving the spare key with neighbours with a name tag on it.

Over the next few days, watch out for anything unusual around the building. Tell your neighbours if the key to the building’s front door was stolen.
